FEBRUARY 2011 UPDATE

The Parent's Association Committee would like to thank all parents who have donated to us in the last month during our annual voluntary contribution campaign.

Contributions are always welcome and will continue to be accepted at any time of year.
All money raised goes into providing funding for things like the Communion Breakfast, Confirmation Certs, Autograph Books etc, as well as books and equipment for classrooms, sports sponsorships and much more.
In previous years we have provided funding towards musical instruments, TV and videos, jigsaws, games, various school trips, sports days and sporting events to name just a few.

The Drum Nature Workshops held at the end of January seemed to be enjoyed by all, even if they were a little noisy!
Our Annual Family Quiz looks set for the latter half of March. Details will be posted next month.

Parents' Association

JANUARY 2011 UPDATE

The Parent's Association of St. Lorcan's and St Brigid's run a number of different events throughout the school year. The committee provides funding for the Communion Breakfasts, Confirmation Certs, Sports sponsorship etc.
In previous years we have provided funding towards musical instruments, TV and videos, jigsaws, games, various school trips, story teller, sports days and sporting events to name just a few.

Towards the end of this month the committee, with the help of the teachers, has organised a Drum Nature Workshop' for both schools to provide a little educational fun for the children.

This January, we are asking for your support through the annual voluntary contribution. Envelopes have been sent home with each child. Any amount is welcome and all money raised goes towards providing those little 'extras' for your children.

The Annual Family Quiz is coming in February.

MARCH 2011 UPDATE
FAMILY QUIZ

The Parent's Association Annual Family Quiz takes place on Thursday 24th March in St. Lorcan's Assembly Hall at 7.30pm.
With great prizes on the night, including cash, lots of raffle prizes and goody bags for the kids,
this is a fun filled night for all the family.

So come along and test your general knowledge in our quiz, or maybe your luck in the raffle.

Cost is €20 per table of 4 payable at the door.
